I wanted to take a few minutes to post some recent pictures. Kennedi looked so cute in her cheer leading outfit at the game. She was a hit with everyone around us. Even the LSU fans tailgating around us wanted to all hold her. This was the loudest game she has been too and I was worried about how she was going to do but it really did not seem to bother her a whole lot. Chris kept her in the front pack last night. I think he was worried about me screaming and jumping up and down and he did not want Kennedi to end up flying out and onto the field in the middle of the game. I think he made a great decision keeping her with him because it was a great game for the most part.
This week Kennedi started to smile back at us when we smile at her. I was able to get a few pictures of her pretty (non-gas) smiles. I really wish that I had my camera at church this morning. There were two little girls sitting behind us and Kennedi was smiling from ear to ear when they were entertaining her. I wish they would have done it the whole mass because this was the first week (of many I am sure) that I had to take Kennedi out of church because she was being too noisy.
Friday I took Kennedi down to the hospital (in Thomaston) where Chris was working. We had not made the trip down there since she was born so I decided to go and have her weighed (again). We got down there and you would have thought it was a full moon with the number of people in that ER. After being there for a little while Chris was able to take her and get her weighed. Once again she gained weight.... at 6 weeks she weighs 11lbs and 4oz. What a chunker!!
Having Kennedi hit the 6 week mark really made me think about how lucky I am to not have to go back to work yet. There is no way that I could take her and let someone else watch her all day long! She is way too little for all that. I still have 6 weeks to go until I have to return to work. I don't know if I will be ready to go back by then or if being home for the first 3 months of her life will make it even harder to go back. All I can say is thank God that I do not have to start work again on Monday!!
As for the pictures below, I do not have any of Avery playing football yet but maybe next week I will be able to post some. His first game is Saturday and we can't wait!! He is doing well in practice. He is into it more some days than others and says he is tired of practicing but can't wait for the games. One day last week I went to watch and he was playing quarterback. I was shocked. I guess from lacrosse I see him as a defensive player. He does also play corner back and he does so well there!
There are pictures from two of Conner's games below. The middle school team is doing a great job this season. So far we are 2-1 (I think). Conner is #84 in the pictures below.
Have a great week and we will update again soon!!
enjoy!!
Conner, Avery and Kennedi...

Oh Tara - she looks so cute! It blows my mind how fast they grow up. I hope Chris is feeling better. He's been in my prayers this weekend. That sounds like a really scary experience.
Hey - we ought to get the babies together for a play date sometime soon. Bella loves making friends her own age...she said she gets tired of just hanging out with Mommy and Daddy all the time :)
Have a good week!
