Only a day late.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!!!!
We were so busy yesterday I forgot to get on here and do that. Poor Chris was 39 yesterday. I had to remind him to make it a good one because next year was the big 4-0 but that does not seem to bother him! That stinks because it sure will bother me in a few years when I am the one getting that old (and I am sure he will remind me of that too)...

Some catching up!!

Wow.. its been a few days.. I guess I missed HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY but I still had to post a picture or two of Kennedi in her green. She let her bow stay in all day. I was amazed that she didn't try to take it out.

This past week has been pretty uneventful. The boys have had practice and stuff and Avery had a lacrosse game today but they lost. It was a pretty good game but we just could not get the ball in the net. Avery did not start out the game well but he woke up about halfway through. He had some good scoops and a few good pushes.

Conner had a scrimmage the other night and he had two great hits. The first was a double and I think he probably could have made it 3 but he was held up at second. Opening day for baseball is next Saturday and we are really getting excited about it.
Both boys had exams this week and both did great! They both got a 100 on their Literature exams. That was great because they are so competitive with each other the other would never had heard the end of it.
As for Kennedi, I said before it was like there was something new everyday. She now has 2 teeth on the bottom. No more toothless smile because both teeth are really visible when she opens and smiles. It is kinda sad because that baby look is gone. The boys are still on me about getting her ears pierced but I am holding out on that one. When she can ask for them we will go get them. If her brothers have anything to do it with, "Mommy I want my ears pierced" will be her first complete sentence. Speaking of the boys with Kennedi, I bought her two cute bathing suits last week. I think they are adorable, the boys on the other hand didn't. They are both bikinis and I was told by Conner and Avery that she will not be allowed to wear one of them (the triangle top with boy shorts). They informed me that they were going to hide the bathing suit. Conner turned to me and said, "Mom, would you let her wear that when she is 14?" hmmm 7 months and 14 years... huge difference!! I guess with the boys around Chris will have a much easier time. He will only have to step in and be the bad daddy if it makes it past Conner and Avery. I feel so sorry for Kennedi.
We have a new addition at the house. My car has been dying a slow death and was starting to cost way too much in repairs so Chris and I have been looking on the internet for awhile now for cars (used but new to us). We have spent the past few days off looking and driving and everything else. We finally found one that was nice and the right price... Please help me to welcome the blue car into the family....
We now have the Auburn car and the Georgia car (a blue one and a red one). What really killed us was when we were sitting there doing the paper work and realizing that next year (Nov 2010) we will be in the same position once again adding to our fleet when Conner gets his license. OH BOY!!
Well I guess that is all the updates for now. I hope the weather is as great for everyone as it has been here the past couple of days (and I hope it stays this way for awhile)... Have a great weekend!!

Praying for Jonah

For those of you blog readers out there....
This blog is one to follow. What a journey this couple has been on at such a young age. The road ahead for them is long but with the prayers that everyone is saying for them the outcome is sure to be good. I look at this blog daily to see the little updates that baby Jonah is making. It is so sad to see anyone go through what this family is going through but to see the baby steps Jonah is making are wonderful. Pray for this little baby and his family so that they may have the happy ending that many of us have with our own children.

Kennedi learns to play ball...

This weekend was pretty uneventful since it has been raining since Friday night. All sports were cancelled this weekend so we all just hung out at the house. Conner went to a friends but we did get this video of Kennedi playing ball with Daddy. She learned this today actually. She does a lot with her left hand but we know that it is still early. I think it will be wonderful to have a lefty (especially if she is left footed!!).

I was able to wake up at 6:50 this morning to sit in front of my computer for two hours pushing the refresh button to get all four of us registered for the Peachtree Road Race on the 4th of July. 45,000 people online to register for a race. It was crazy!! They had given all the numbers out by around 1pm this afternoon. I have run this many times but it will be a first for Chris, Conner and Avery. I guess it is time to start a serious training program. I am so happy that both boys wanted to run it. Avery has mentioned it numerous times but Conner always said no until I asked him this weekend. In fact when he told me that he wanted to run it I thought he was kidding. We shall see how they do in a few months. At least they can say that they did it (and have the t-shirt).

I hope y'all have a great week!!
