Wow.. it is hard to believe today is February 7 (and it is almost 5pm when I am writing this). 6 months ago today I was laying in a hospital bed about to give birth (5:27 to be exact.. or maybe it was 5:26?!?!). I can't believe how fast it has gone and in that short time Kennedi has gone from this itty, bitty baby (if you can be that at almost 9lbs) to the crazy baby she is today. She does now know what it is like to stay still for 3 minutes! Chris and I went shopping today and while we are out Chris wanted to go look for a walker for her. She has one at Grandma and Papa's house and LOVES it! We went to Toys R Us and of course they had a great one. Many of the walker are too short for her even when it is on the tallest level. We found one that is a little tall for her still but she will be in it in no time I am sure. She loved it in the store! We also got her 2 cute V-tech toys. Chris said she needed some more toys that interact with her so we were going to get her one. Well I shop a lot better without Chris! She ended up getting two new toys (not counting the walker). Chris would try toys in front of her and there were two that she LOVED. She would kick and squeal when they made noises. Those were our winners today!
We got home and put the walker together and it took Kennedi about 2 minutes to figure it out. She is so funny. The video below is her trucking along in the walker. Not bad for a 6 month old! She was also laying on her belly today and she almost got up on one knee. I am praying that does not happen too soon. I am not ready for the crawling stage. She has figured out to scoot forward she could put her head down and move her legs in and that works for her... for the time being at least. Well, enjoy the video and have a great weekend...
